Task 6.
Determination of a legal situation of the missing person, development of a monograph

Preparation of a monograph and legal manuals for families of missing people. The editorial team supervises the development of the monograph on an on-going basis. Simultaneously, manuals are being prepared to provide information and legal advice to relatives struggling with everyday life problems after disappearance of their beloved ones.
Task 7.
Development of IT solutions to facilitate search and identification and support relatives of missing persons

The task consists in development of a new IT system to support work processes, analyses and statistical processing. The contractor was selected in a tender and the contract was signed.
Task 8.
Development of a model to improve the search and identification of missing persons and to offer support for their relatives, including the development of de lega lata and de lege ferenda postulates in the area of search and identification of missing persons and support for their relatives.

Following a basic research, a model was developed to improve the search and identification of missing persons and to support their loved ones. The model was based on results of research concerning missing persons in Poland and abroad. Experiences of other countries were used.
The project includes organization of three conferences.
